Glamis Castle is the finest castle in Scotland, and winner of the best attraction award for the UK 2015. The castle is famed as being the childhood home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, birthplace of HRH The Princess Margaret and the setting for Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'. It is situated in the fertile valley of Strathmore, only 5 miles from Forfar and 12 miles from Dundee.
We have 3 races planned for the May Day Bank Holiday weekend. You can enter one race only, any combination or all 3 races:
- FUR Nations Cup
Sat, Sun and Mondays races count towards the CaniX FUR Nations Cup (details on team scoring/points structure).
Points will also be awarded for each race towards the CaniX National Championship (with DOUBLE POINTS for Monday).
- Saturday + Sunday will be a standard 2-day CaniX event (5km and 2km).
- Monday will be a 10km CaniX race for adults (2km for under 17s) with DOUBLE CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS.
- The main prizegiving will be on Sunday for the standard 2-day CaniX, dog treats for all for the Monday CaniX (collect with bibs).
