Cirencester Park, has been the private estate of the Bathurst family since 1695. The whole estate covers 14,000 acres of parkland, woodland and farmland.
The estate is home to the world famous Ivy Lodge polo ground that forms a magnificent backdrop to the event. Cirencester Park Polo Club was founded in 1894 and is the oldest polo club in the country with 7 polo fields to its name. His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) and both Prince William and Prince Harry play matches regularly here each season. The club hosts many tournaments with teams from around the world competing.
