At the venue, follow yellow A4 CaniX signs to the parking (if camping follow camping signs).

Directions: NB The start/finish and event is being run from the Staffs CC Cannock Chase Visitor Centre off Marquis Drive/Brindley Heath Road (NOT the Forestry Commission Birches Valley Visitor Center).

Best route from M6 is via Penkridge A449.

Parking and start/finish area
CaniX signs will be positioned on Brindley Heath Road and Marquis Drive directing you to the parking for competitors (please pay and display); the start/finish/registration area is near the Duke of Edinbrough camping field behind the cafe, about 200m past the toilet block (follow CaniX signs). DAY COMPETITORS/VISITORS THERE IS NO VEHICULAR ACCESS TO THE CAMPING FIELD – GATES WILL BE LOCKED BETWEEN 9am to 5pm.

For those camping the parking is down Marquis Drive, through a metal 5 bar gate, a second heavy duty Forestry Commission gate, and about 500 metres further down Marquis Drive on the right. NB Access to the camping area is via a pedestrian only driveway. We therefore have to restrict vehicle movement between 9am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday to emergency only (and people arriving/departing for camping only NOT DAY COMPETITORS/ VISITORS). If campers wish to use their car during this period, please move the car to the public car park before 9am; and back again after 5pm. The gates will be locked between 9am to 5pm, and overnight.
